Food was stunning and made me feel like a proper coffee shop, felt quite traditional. It was busy but not overwhelming, we were seated and attended to. Beautiful place and definitely get your moneys worth, itching to come back for more!!
Wow what a great little cafe!! The service was truly so wonderful, everyone was so kind. I had my wild one year old with me and they made me feel so at ease and welcome. And the food was SO GOOD. Probably the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had honestly. Would absolutely recommend this place!!
Journey social has been my favourite brunch spot in Lancaster for the past 4 years, I love everything about it, great coffee, the best presentation, I would love to have a similar branch as a place to work or study, and I miss some of the meals from the seasonal menus
Although the service might be a little slow, the food is absolutely incredible. Worth the wait if you have the time!
What a lovely spot for brunch! We waited about 15 minutes for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. We had buttered leek and pea Eggs Florentine, together with delicious coffee, and it was both amazing. Highly recommended!
Recently visited Journey Social with my girlfriend who lives in Lancaster . It had come highly recommended and was everything I thought it would be and more . My girlfriend ordered the french toast and I ordered the veggie breakfast . The french toast was delightful as I insisted that I should try some as it was nothing short of spectacular. The veggie breakfast was also coming in hot and hit hard. Quite possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had and that is a bold statement . Credit to the staff who provided such splendid delights and a setting fit for such food. All washed down with a couple of exceedingly tremendous Lattes I thank you One final note , they also sell cake to takeaway , which tasted like the gods themselves had prepared it.
I’ve been visiting Journey Social since they opened up at their first location ( near Tesco express ) and it’s been an absolute favourite of mine ever since! The French toast is a classic which I’d recommend to everyone and they often do really interesting seasonal variations of it too. I’d also recommend the ‘Hot Honey Halloumi flatbread’ and hot honey hashbrowns, but I’m not sure if / when these will reappear on the menu. The coffee is also nice and I tend to go for the iced latte. I’m not personally the biggest fan of eggs, but if you enjoy fried/ poached eggs, you’ll have many greats options to choose from! In particular, I know that the ‘halloumi brunch’ is one that all of my friends and family who have tried it really enjoy.
Generous portions and a professional, welcoming vibe. We came for a Sunday breakfast and it was perfect. I had the French toast with bacon (see photo). It was great to have our dog welcomed as soon as we walked through the door and they even offered a dog water bowl for her. Thank you.
